Einkorn and the Storm

$300.00
sold out

W7.5” D0.85”

Needle felted wool, mohair thread, reclaimed/refinished wood frame

Einkorn is the oldest known variety of wheat and has remained unchanged for more than 10,000 years of agriculture. It has extremely high nutrient and mineral density and is rich in antioxidants. In Canada, it is grown mainly in Saskatchewan and Alberta as a heritage crop. Here, a mature field of Einkorn awaits the rain from an oncoming thunderstorm

Things to note: All pieces shown are framed without glass. Please display out of direct sunlight to prevent fading. Felt art is delicate and should only be cleaned with a feather duster (if at all). Do not wipe or rub the surface of the felt. Moisture will affect the integrity of the framework and the felt itself; do not use a wet cloth. We do not use filters or corrective photography, so any imperfections will be visible in the photo. It is natural for the felting itself to have variable texture and depth.
