House Mountain

$800.00

W11” D1.65”

Needle felted wool, reclaimed wood frame

Rundle Mountain’s original Cree name is “Waskahigan Watchi”, or House Mountain. This view, from Vermilion Lakes, is a treasured sight for many Rocky Mountain adventurers and one of the most gorgeous skating spots in all of Canada. Here we see the mountain in its winter cloak of snow, a forest of pines and a deeply frozen lake just asking for a game of shinny.

Things to note: All pieces shown are framed without glass. Please display out of direct sunlight to prevent fading. Felt art is delicate and should only be cleaned with a feather duster (if at all). Do not wipe or rub the surface of the felt. Moisture will affect the integrity of the framework and the felt itself; do not use a wet cloth. We do not use filters or corrective photography, so any imperfections will be visible in the photo. It is natural for the felting itself to have variable texture and depth.
